(Of course, you can also use any other techniques you find reliable to do this.) (2) Use GET's PIVOT feature to identify turning points and (3) Then use normal technical analysis to do your Timing Entry - I use (a) Fibonacci ratios, (b) Candlestick patterns and (c) normal Chart patterns for Breakouts and Continuation patterns. Best is to ensure that GET has 3 to 4 alternate counts showing it is Wave 3. We may not be prepared to pay for it.Īnd finally, a word of guidance - (1) Use GET to look for Wave 3 patterns as it is the longest and most profitable wave to trade. Realtime means we have to pay for the realtime datafeed service from dataproviders like e-Signal and I was told this is very expensive. You need a realtime version of GET to do this. Unfortunately the GET version that we all have is End of Day. Where they agree, it gives you greater confidence. GET can act for you as a counter-check against your method. I am glad to know you can also use GET now, in addition to your own method of wave labelling. I can't use 60min frame, the button is not working. Now I'm learning to use GET tanks to you. I wish you all – MERRY XMAS and a PROSPEROUS 2010 in your forex trading. For further reading, I suggest you visit the website: Forex Optical | Home where you can find some lessons on Chart Patterns, Candlesticks Patterns, etc. “Continuation Patterns” is a term used to describe a situation whereby a trend is in place but was subsequently interrupted by retracements (whether it is one bar or a few bars), but subsequently it resumed its major trend. This is the term I would use to descriibe the technique used by Joe for his Entry as in the first instance the first support Fibonacci level of 23.6 has already been broken. Signals from GET provide us the First Step and because we are using EOD GET, our Next Step is to use the Technical Features that are available in MT4 to do our conventional technical analysis using your favorite time frames for your Entries and Exits.īREAKOUT Strategies is one of the techniques I use, and another is CONTINUATION PATTERNS. I will only casually mention what I use and it will be up to readers themselves to do the follow-up study/reading based on those hints. Therefore on these topics, I would not be teaching readers. I have high respect for this guy as he took the trouble and initiative to do further studies on his own on (1) Fibonacci techniques, (2) Candlestick techniques and (3) Chart patterns apart from knowing GET.Īs I have mentioned before, I am not a pure Elliotician and it is my trading practice to combine both Elliott Wave charts IN COMBINATION with other technical analysis techniques.Īnd my stand is this: I would gladly share my experience and knowledge on ADVANCE GET as we do not have much available material on this but for Technical Analysis Techniques I would expect reader users of GET to do some study/reading on their own through books or via Internet as they are readily available and these are written by traders probably with more experience and knowledge than I have. There is nothing much that I can add to Joe's analysis as I feel he has done a very good job in explaining his thinking why he chose to trade on EURUSD and his Entry Timing. I don't know wich format must be and how to load it. I think that I must to create data from my metatrader4 and load it to GET. I sent my message earlier, but I didn't see it. I am sure there will be members using that thread will help you in whatever way they can.) (PS: I note you have also put up a post in Modern Elliott Wave Trading using Elwave. Once you have that software, I can show you how to load data into it, and you will be able to produce the GET charts for any currency pairs you want. Normally everyday I will post GET charts for Wave 3 currency pairs, as we are focusing our trades on this longest and most profitable Wave 3.Īs a matter of fact, if you are interested to lay your hands on GET, do a Google search for "GET software". Anything about Elliott Wave, I shall be exited to know more. I am sure readers of this thread will be keen to read about it - at least I am. I am glad you find the GET charts helpful, and thanks for attached the eBook about Elliott Wave patterns.

At least with it being manufactured by Sega all the top arcade conversions made it across like Afterburner, Out Run, Altered Beast, Space Harrier etc. People tend to forget the MS as it was rather dwarfed by the NES when the two went head-to-head. He’d tell of such quality games like Psycho Fox and I’d just sit there dribbling because it sounded great and I wanted a go. I have a lot of time for the old MS and was forever jealous of my mate Jim when we were kids. This time I have wheeled out the Sega Master System to see what it’s like on that. Yep it's another cheese-induced nightmare sequenceĪgain I have played this on the C64 – a very good conversion indeed with amazing colours and a crackingly good soundtrack although it is quite a tough old game – and the Amiga which is pretty much arcade perfect although the remix tune of Somewhere Over The Rainbow gets on one’s tits after a while. After all Bubble Bobble only ever really had one bad conversion (the Game Boy one and it wasn’t even an accurate conversion preferring to invent it’s own story instead), so Rainbow Islands has got to be good by that count. So naturally when a sequel comes out to a game as good as that you need to give it a whirl. I had also previously played the Amiga version which I enjoyed a great deal. I reviewed Bubble Bobble on the C64 a while back and found that it’s charm was still there. And for Amstrad owners anything with the word Horace in the title (just joshing, CPC fans). For C64 owners it would be Impossible Mission. For Spectrum owners that would be any game by Ultimate. The really naff ones will always be naff and only deserve to be rediscovered for their sheer awfulness (see some of the entries in the Commodorathon for spiffingly good examples), whilst as with anything in life the cream will always rise to the top. The good thing about classic games you played years ago is that the good ones stand the test of time. Up above the streets and houses, rainbow flying high. After this, the camera will start to zoom in on the Basketball net, something that does not happen in the Endless Remix, and repeat the same cues as before. This action repeats a few times, and then the girl starts rapid-firing passes to the player. The game starts with the girl dribbling the ball, and eventually passing it to the player. During this, the music will still continue to play until the player presses A, stopping the music and softlocking the game. All of them feature a simplistic drumming track for the music, and will continue indefinitely until the player misses a cue, at which point it will display the game over graphic also found in the Endless Games. These games function similarly to the Endless Games, and use the same score counter seen in them. It is likely that these Rhythm Games were once used for general testing of cues and such, mainly due to their simplistic nature. The debug menu contains 3 standalone versions of each of the Rhythm Games featured in the Endless Remix. Most of this game has been removed in international versions, with all that remains being the unused "Let's Practice" music. If the camera is panning when you do this, the vegetables will stop spawning after a while. Similarly, attempting to pause and quit the game will softlock it. Inputting anything else won't affect anything on screen, and the game continues infinitely.Īttempting to skip the practice will cause a short drum beat to play, before immediately softlocking the game. The onion then turns towards the next vegetable, even though the torch is still with the first vegetable, and the camera starts to infinitely pan right, eventually looping back to the first vegetable, still with the torch in its hand. The unused version of the "Let's Practice" theme starts playing, the onion turns towards the lettuce, and the player must press A + B again, causing the lettuce to suddenly become an onion. Not catching it causes the torch to permanently stay on screen, and catching it too late causes an onion to appear above the vegetables, at the center of the screen. The player then must catch the torch by pressing A + B, which causes the onion to catch it. The game starts with a count-in, followed by a torch being thrown from offscreen. Judging from its position in the debug menu, this game was intended to be an Endless Game. There's unused animations and background textures that need to be added.Īccessible via the debug menu is an entirely unused game called Seika Relay (or Torch Relay, as the folder containing the graphics for the game is named).Unused Frog Jump (Endless Remix) Practice Unused Chameleon (Endless Remix) Practice This entry only exists in the Japanese version, making it one entry longer than the other versions. This entry depends on if you're playing the Japanese or international versions of the game.Īn unused Endless Game. Rhythm Test from opening the Rhythm Test in the Café. Rhythm Test from when you first start the game. Shows a black screen with the Wii cursor available.Īir Rally's epilogue. Loads up the title screen after pressing A on this screen. My package was shipped DHL Express from Hong Kong to Maryland, USA with a stop in Cincinnati, OH along the way for customs. A blog entry from professional artist Ray Frenden citing specific support/PR blunders by Bosto made Huion the obvious choice. I also found a lot of negatives online about Bosto. I chose to go with Huion because they support both WinTab and new Ink API on Windows. Customers need to know that a company has their back if something goes wrong with a purchase that is easily double or triple the cost of a separate monitor and non-display pen tablet. Device drivers commonly need to span multiple generations of operating systems. Third, post-purchase support is absolutely critical for pen tablet displays. Requiring all these features narrows the field down to the Huion GT-185HD and Bosto Kingtee 22HDX. This reduces the need to have a hand on a keyboard or keypad to input shortcuts. Another helpful feature are hotkeys/expresskeys built into the tablet display itself. IPS displays are also important due to maximizing viewing angles and minimizing color shift in the displayed picture. The exact number of pressure levels are honestly not all that important as long as it’s above 256 levels. Pens with pressure sensitivity are mandatory. Second, it’s important to understand what helps make a digital drawing experience pleasant. Wacom clearly targets professional artists, not the hobbyist like me. The prices on their Cintiq models are just too high. I’m willing to spend on my hobby to a point. I wanted an art device that lets me draw on the screen and doesn’t cost a fortune. It’s something I have been striving to improve at. I’m not professionally trained - I’m self taught. I draw what I want, when I want, how I want. I’m not a professional that gets paid to draw. So why did I choose Huion?įirst it’s important to understand my point of view. Some of these companies come up with their own designs and some of them modify components from upstream OEMs. Wacom, Huion, Bosto, Ugee, Yiynova, Samsung, Microsoft, and more make pen display tablets and tablet PCs. We have more competition in drawing tools today than at any point in the past. Out side of the "Nashville" Number System, the much of the music industry (& music educators) used Roman Numerals in the Number system where upper case characters/capital letters represent major chords and lower case/small letters represent minor chords. Without taking anything away from you thread, I'd like to take the liberty of adding a small comment. Study the chart below, and you will see how the numbers at the top of the chart can represent any progression in any key. Since you have charted the song using numbers, the band can play it in your key very easily, because 1, 4, 5, 1 now means Eb, Ab, Bb, Eb – because in the key of Eb, the “1” chord is Eb, the “4” chord is Ab, and the “5” chord is Bb. Now, you sit in with a band that has always played the same song in C and does not know the chord progression in your key. Let’s say for example that you always play a certain song in Eb, but you have charted the song using the number system. By using the number system and writing the progression as 1, 4, 5, 1, and anyone who is familiar with the Nashville Number System can play the correct progression in any key. That would be fine if we never wanted to play the song in any key except C. Now, you may wonder why not just call the chards what they are – C, F, G, C. For example, if the progression of chords for a particular song is C chord, F chord, G chord then back to C chord, we can say the progression is 1, 4, 5, 1. While this series of numbers represents the progression of NOTES within a scale, we can use this same series of numbers to represent a progression of CHORDS. If we start on the root note (C) and number the notes, we will have C=1 D=2 E=3 F=4 G=5 A=6 B=7 and (back to the root note) C=8. As an example, in the key of C the C note is the root and the scale is C D E F G A B C. The diatonic scale is the normal musical scale made up of five whole tones and two half tones – e.g. The diatonic scale is used as the basis for the numbers. Numbers are used to represent chords in a progression. I, myself, just learned how these charts work a few months ago when I found Number Charts to be an absolute necessity when playing steel guitar shows with musicians who may not be familiar with the songs I play at these shows. When I was active in music many years ago, this kind of chart was unheard of. And, if you have further questions, or if you want a sample chart, or if you find errors in the chart I am including below, please email me. If you already know the Nashville Number System, ignore this thread. I thought it might be helpful to some of you who are not familiar with the “Nashville Number System” if I posted a little information about it. Since then I have received several emails asking about Number Charts. Your profile | join | preferences | help | searchĪ few days ago John Bresler posted a thread that asked for the chord progression to “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” I answered, informing John I was sending him a Number Chart on the song.
